Here are a few tips to help your cat overcome their fear of the carrier.

• Choose a carrier with a removable lid: the ideal size should allow the animal to just stand up inside.

• Take the carrier out several days before the planned trip.

• Put his favourite treats inside, several times a day.

• On the day of the trip, put a small treat in the cage, because there is a good chance that the cat will rush into it. You will then only have to close the door behind him.
